Cynthia Chastain writes contemporary romantic suspense featuring relationship-driven stories where love, danger, and complicated pasts collide. 

Inspired by her grandmother and mother, Cynthia began writing stories of young love on a typewriter at twelve, sparking a lifelong passion for storytelling.

After years of dreaming about a man like the heroes in her novels, fiction imitated life when she met her own Prince Charming, John, the old-fashioned way… online. They fell in love within five days—before ever meeting in person—and married just over a year later in a historic general store in the Pacific Northwest.

The couple shares a love of thrifting, cozy movie nights, and exploring the Oregon coast. They live in Eastern Oregon with their two cats, Oliver and Bearcat, living their fairy tale come true.
